Material:

- 1 kg of sardines/sardinella (remove the head and clean)

- 1 lime

- salt to taste


Saos ingredients:

Spices:

- 1 onion, cut into pieces

- 3 cloves garlic, geprek and finely chopped

- 1 ginger segment

- 7 shallots, thinly sliced then fried

How to make:

2. Blender the large red chilli and tomatoes until smooth.


3. Heat the oil, sauté the onion, garlic and ginger until fragrant.


4. Put in a blender of chillies and tomatoes. Add the tomato sauce, shallots and fried garlic. Stir well. Let it explode. Give salt, pepper, sugar. Stir well.

Discard the ginger, then pour the sauce into a presto pan. 


5. Add water as high as the fish. If the water is less, then the base of the pan will burn because the sauce is too thick.


6. Cook with presto for approximately 40 minutes.

Serve or it can be kept warm.
